Appreciation Post for the Multiple Organizations who Donated Items to Help People in Need

The Lotus Light Charity Society (LLCS) would like to thank Remo and Harleen, employees at Superstore at Grandview Hwy and Felix Lau at Fazio International Foods for their generous ongoing donations of non-perishable food items to help stop hunger among our communities during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The First United Church will distribute our donated bottled water from their service window to help the homeless stay hydrated during Vancouver’s hot summer temperatures this week.

An Aboriginal Shelter graciously accepted fresh iceberg lettuce, premium gluten-free cracked pepper parmesan salad dressing, fruit snacks, and cereals to feed the homeless in their newly arranged “Covid approved facility” with clean cots and plastic dividers. The iceberg lettuce was a gift from an anonymous donor who celebrated his birthday by donating to the LLCS and happily supporting the homeless at the Aboriginal shelter.

If you are interested in making a donation or volunteering with the LLCS, please contact our office at 605-685-5548 or simply email llcsvancouver@gmail.com. The LLCS would like to thank our volunteers, corporate and individual sponsors, donors, and community partner organizations for their generosity and support during this pandemic!
