Lotus Light Partners with DTES Emergency Supply Hub to Send Nutrient Yogurt to the Community
This past month, Lotus Light partnered with the DTES Emergency Supply Hub (also known as the DTES Distribution Hub or simply the DTES Hub) to distribute over five pallets of nutrient‑rich yogurt to residents in the Downtown Eastside community.
Evan Reeks, Operations Manager of the DTES Hub, sent an appreciation letter thanking Lotus Light and the corporate donor for providing this valuable food resource to support many low‑income residents in the DTES.
Lotus Light has been partnering with the DTES Emergency Supply & Distribution Hub since the COVID‑19 pandemic, providing emergency PPE and food supplies to help the community. In addition to frequent yogurt distribution, Lotus Light donates fresh produce and grocery items weekly to support the DTES Hub through the LLCS Community Caring Drive.
