Master Lian Tzi, president of LLCS presented the gifts to the SOS Children’s Village BC

Ho Ho Ho! Christmas is a traditional, festive season to give warmth, care and love to children.

Lotus Light Charity Society Vancouver treasures its wonderful opportunity to benefit orphans of our Lower Mainland. In the morning of Dec. 19th, Santa Claus of SOS Children’s Village, Executive Director Mr. Douglas Dunn arrived with his sleigh to bring back new toys, knitted blankets, shopping carts, tea, bar soaps, shampoo, conditioner, cartoon memo pads, fun stickers, angry bird chocolates, hello kitty dolls, towels, household items and more back to Surrey from Lotus Light Charity Society.

It was very delightful to hear from Mr. Dunn to our President of LLCS, Vajra Master Lian Tzi about how well their foster children are doing so well in graduating from high school, tutoring, achieving educational programs, and other active activities to ensure the children grow well, just like any child. Children are taught to give back to the community and this is a way to teach kids to share their toys with other kids who have less in their world.

Mr Dunn, CEO of SOS Children Village, thanks LLCS for 2nd year’s Supports

Master Lian Tzi welcomes the children and their foster parents to tour the temple one day as a field trip. Mr. Dunn was very fascinated and quickly agreed to invitation! After group photos, charity volunteers happily moved boxes of gifts into SOS van. Mr. Dunn is very pleased with Lotus Light Charity Society’s 2nd year of Xmas gifts and welcomes our LLCS to visit their village’s next BBQ event! More opportunities lies ahead to connect between LLCS and SOS in year 2016!
