Celebrates Spirit of Friendship & Caring in Vancouver’s DTES
Lotus Light Charity Society (Vancouver) has successfully held the first annual “Lotus Light Community Caring Day”on July 8th, 2017 at Oppenheimer Park to celebrate community caring in the heart of the downtown eastside’s Strathcona Chinatown neighborhood, to benefit the poorest members of Vancouver’s downtown eastside. This special public event is being organized by Lotus Light Charity Society and partnered with conscious corporate sponsors and community partners and to distribute food items, basic clothing and personal hygiene care packages to the area’s most vulnerable low-income families, seniors, women, children, youth and homeless.
