Strathcona Community Centre’s Food Safety Program Thanks Lotus Light Supports

Lotus Light Charity Society supports the Strathcona Community Centre Children Food Safety Program, to help the low income family with school age children.

Every week, Lotus Light Charity Society volunteers loaded donation cart with hundreds pounds of grocery product to delivery to Strathcona.

Strathcona Community Centre is located in the Vancouver downtown east side (DTES), where many families are struggle to make their ends meet. The community centre  has established a Children Food Safety Program to support the families with children attending school. Lotus Light Charity Society has been supporting the Strathcona Community since the winter of 2014.

Strathcona Community Centre Food Backpack sent a hand-made “Thank You” card to express their gratitude to the support from Lotus Light.

How to Support Children Nutrient Backpack

You could send nonperishable foods to the food collecting box in Lotus Light Temple, 347 East Hastings St, or to Nesters Market Yale Town “Charity’s food and toys  collecting box”.
