LLCS Donates Groceries to Admiral Seymour Elementary “Backpack Buddy” Program

This week, Lotus Light Charity Society (Vancouver) donated cart loads of grocery items and rice to the “Backpack Buddy” program of Admiral Seymour Elementary School, supporting students from low income families. Seymour is one of the “Tier One” inner city schools in Vancouver School District, with the highest impoverished ratio.

In the morning of October 6,Johnny Tran, Seymour Elementary School coordinator for the student food program, came to Lotus Light picked up donation for students. According to Johnny, there are about 60 to 85 students receiving support twice a month from  the school “Backpack Buddy” program.
