LLCS Food Recovery Team Delivers Food to the Belkin House Downtown Shelter

Today, LLCS Food Recovery Program volunteers delivered 100 lbs of grocery items to the Belkin House Downtown Shelter. Items donated included nuts, chocolates, cereals, syrups, and jellies. The kitchen team at the shelter sent the LLCS their appreciation for the various donations to improve their lunch menu for the 300+ residents they serve daily.

The LLCS thanks all corporate and individual sponsors and volunteers for making this donation possible.

Below is the senior Mrs. Gia who collects cans/bottles daily to donate to Belkin House, together with Alvin Chong, program director of Belkin House and LLCS food recovery volunteer Gia Tran standing in the Belkin House kitchen with large trays of fruit to be served with 130lbs yogurt donated by LLCS last Friday, April 19.
