Lotus Light Delivers Toys to BC’s Sick Kids
Today Lotus Light Charity delivered 2 large vans filled with brand new toys to the seriously ill children from communities across BC & the Yukon who are receiving treatment at BC Children’s Hospital.
“Thanks to the combined efforts and generosity from our volunteers, donors, and community partners, Lotus Light was able to bring some Christmas cheer to nearly 100 children, even as they fight serious illness,” said Master Lian Tzi, Lotus Light’s President.
Parents will be able to select toys for their sick child, and also toys for the child’s siblings as well, as their families stay at Ronald McDonald House in Vancouver. This eases the financial burden as they leave their homes, jobs and communities to care for their sick child in Vancouver, and provides them some comfort over the holidays.
Lotus Light sincerely thanks its donors, volunteers, The Salvation Army and the team at Simon’s Delivery (www.simonsdelivery.com).
