Lotus Light Delivers Toys to BC’s Sick Kids

Today, the Lotus Light Charity Society (LLCS) delivered two large vans filled with brand new toys to sick children receiving treatment at the BC Children’s Hospital.

Parents living at Vancouver’s Ronald McDonald House were able to select toys for both their sick children and their child’s siblings. The toys were donated with hope to relieve these families of the financial burden and allow them to focus on caring for their children. We hope that the toys were also able to provide them with some comfort over the holidays.

Master Lian Tzi, president of the LLCS, thanked community partners, volunteers, and donors for their support. “Thanks to the combined efforts and generosity of our volunteers, donors, and community partners, Lotus Light was able to bring some Christmas cheer to nearly 100 children, even as they fight serious illness.”

The LLCS further extends its gratitude to the Salvation Army and the team at Simon’s Delivery for helping us make a difference.
