According to the Nepalese Police on May 3 (local time), the death toll in Nepal’s devastating earthquake jumped to 7,040 with another 14,123 people injured.
Donation for Nepal
Master Lian Tzi, president of Lotus Light Charity Society, has instructed volunteers to get into action to raise funds for the April 25, 2015 Nepal Earthquake Victims.
On May 1 and May 2, LLCS volunteers have been fundraising at Save On Foods ( Cambie Street ) and Yao Han Shopping Centre at Richmond, with support from our business partners.
Volunteers have also raised funds through friends, colleagues and family members to support the cause.
Lotus Light Temple is also chanting the Great Relief of Calamities Mantra, to dedicate the relief blessing for the Nepal Earthquake
