We would like to specially thank the 9 stores of Save-On-Foods and their store managers for their tremendous contributions to the success of our Winter Charity Drive 2016 on November 19. The 9 stores include the Cambie, Dunbar, Grandview, Ironwood, King Edward, Main Street, Terra Nova and UBC Save-On-Foods, as well as the PriceSmart in Richmond.
We are proud to have Save-On-Foods as our supporter of WCD for the last two years, donating thousands of boxed juices and fresh fruits each year. This year, Save-On-Foods went the extra mile to prepare and help distribute 500 fresh sandwiches with a variety of choices, in addition to their juice and fruits. This allowed us to combine our monthly Meals for the Homeless event with our Winter Charity Drive.
We were honoured to invite the 9 store managers to join our WCD presentation as well. This was the first time store managers from Save-On-Foods joined us in person. As we are truly grateful for their help and support, we were excited to finally meet our generous donors in person.
