On Dec 14, annual Winter Charity Drive, Lotus Light presented a donation of 10,000 lbs of rice to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank to meet the massive increase in demands. According to a recent Hunger Count report by Food Bank Canada, 30% of food banks are out of supplies. And the Greater Vancouver area see their client who relies on food bank are more than doubled compare to six years ago. Lotus Light has launched a Rice Donation Campaign to raise fund for rice to meet the urgent need of the community.
The Greater Food Bank Society sends a “Thank you ” letter to expresses their gratitude to Lotus Light.
