Lotus Light Launches Winter Charity Drive 2025 Campaign

In the Homelessness Action Week 2025, Lotus Light Launches the Winter Charity Drive 2025 campaign to ask public support and collect donation to help unhoused residents in the community.

Lotus Light Winter Charity Drive

Bringing Warmth to Our Community Since 1995

For over 30 years, Lotus Light Charity Society Vancouver’s Winter Charity Drive has provided critical support to homeless and low-income individuals across the Lower Mainland. Each December, we distribute winter clothing, blankets, sleeping bags, and non-perishable food through shelters, outreach programs, and community partners—ensuring our most vulnerable neighbors stay safe during the coldest months.

How We Help

Partner with organizations like the Vancouver Police Homeless Outreach Program, BC Ambulance Service, and Union Gospel Mission to deliver aid directly to those in need.

Distribute thousands of Care Packages  annually, including hats, gloves, scarves, socks, hygiene items, and hot meals.

Respond to Extreme Weather Alerts with emergency supplies for unsheltered individuals.

Support seniors, families, youth, and students through collaborations with schools, shelters, and social services.

To date, we’ve donated over 600,000 winter items, including 40,000+ gifts in a single season. Our work is made possible by the generosity of donors, volunteers, and corporate sponsors who share our mission of compassion.

Join us in making a difference—because no one should face the harsh winter alone.
