Vancouver Foundation Community Response Fund supports LLCS Meal and Free Masks programs (July 2020)
Thanks to Community Response Fund ( co-sponsored by Vancouver Foundation, Vancity Credit Union, United Way Lower Mainland, and the City of Vancouver) to support LLCS Covid-19 Community Caring Drive new initiates:
- LLCS Free Masks for the Needy, to sew and distribute 10,000 cloth masks to help the needy
- LLCS Charity Meal program to provide free meals for the needy in DTES Vancouver
United Way Lower Mainland Emergency Community Fund Supports LLCS Emergency Food Hub (December 2020)
Thanks to Emergency Community Support Fund ( sponsored by Government Canada and administrated by United Way Lower Mainland) to support LLCS Covid-19 new initiate Emergency Food Hub:
- LLCS Charity Kitchen provides free meals to the vulnerable groups in DTES Vancouver
- Lotus Light Care for single parent families and students from Low-income families program provides grocery shopping gift cards for the needy.
- Lotus Light Hampers program provides perishable and non-perishable food to help people in need.
