Lotus Light Charity Society is hosting a Welcome Family Event for 100-200 Syrian refugee families with children on Saturday, March 12th, 2016 at 347 East Hastings, Vancouver, BC, to include a special presentation of new toys, gifts and household essentials and a reception with light refreshments. This event promotes our common belief as Canadians that a welcoming community is one that encourages and promotes positive aspects of cultural diversity.
