The Lotus Light Charity Society (LLCS) would like to extend its sincere thanks to Carlos from the Superstore on Marine Drive for their generous donations of big watermelons to support the charity’s 2018 Community Caring Day event.
On July 8th, an extremely hot day, the watermelons fed hundreds of hungry homeless, low-income families, children, and senior residents who attended the LLCS’s Annual Event at Oppenheimer Park.
Thank you Carlos and Superstore for your additional donation of gift cards. They were incredibly helpful and allowed us to buy more food to feed the hundreds of attendees at the event.
