Lotus Light Care Program for single parent families and students from Low-income families are completed with great success

On Mar 26, 2021, when the last batches of grocery gift cards have been mailed out, the “Lotus Light Care for Single Parent Family” and “Lotus Light Care for student from low-income family” are completed very great success. The lotus light care program is part of Lotus Light Covid-19 Emergency Food Hub to provide grocery gift cards to help low-income single parent families and students from low-income families. Hundreds of families are benefited from the program since the food hub started in December 2020.

“I would like to express my sincerely thank to Lotus Light on behalf of the students’ families. These supports are so important to the low-income students’ families.  One family that very needs such help as the family could not take care of the student when the mom needs to have a critical operation.  Your supports are amazing.” Vice Principle of Gladstone Secondary School told coordinator of Lotus Light.

“I just received the grocery gift cards in the mail and wanted to thank you very much for the generosity from yourselves and your sponsors of the Lotus Light Care campaign. The gift card will be put to good use for my kids. Have a wonderful day”, Christina, a single mom who has received the support, wrote in her email to Lotus Light.
