Lotus Light would give their warm heartfelt thanks to Donald’s Market for supporting Lotus Light’s 2023 Winter Charity Drive!
In March 2023, Donald’s Market launched a new initiative seeking to promote sustainable practices by encouraging shoppers to bring their own reusable bags on their grocery run. To this end, Donald’s Market has pledged to contribute 10 cents for every reusable bag used per transaction to a local organization. The funds raised are donated to a new organization each month, with recipients including but not limited to the Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure, local inner-city schools like Xpey̓ Elementary and Hastings Elementary, and Lotus Light Charity Society who received the donations for the month of August.
Lotus Light is greatly thankful and honored to receive the support of Donald’s Market’s environmentally friendly waste reduction charity initiative, especially now during preparations for Lotus Light’s annual Winter Charity Drive.
