Since April, the LLCS has Distributed 2000+ Hampers From the Parking Lots of the Pink Pearl Restaurant

Since late April, the Lotus Light Charity Society (LLCS) has distributed over 2000 hampers as part of their Covid-19 relief efforts to help families and individuals disproportionately impacted by the pandemic. Hampers were distributed from the parking lot of the Pink Pearl Restaurant (1132 E. Hastings St, Vancouver).

The non-perishable and fresh produce items in the hampers were generously donated by five of Vancouver’s largest produce wholesalers: Fresh Point, Fresh Direct, Discovery Organics, Produce Terminal, and Van-Whole. Each hamper contains enough food for a family of four to manage for two weeks and includes one package of face masks.

The LLCS is proud to be serving those who need our help and will continue to extend its services and programs to those in need. The LLCS thanks its volunteers, corporate and individual sponsors, and partner community service organizations for all their generosity and support in helping our programs run successfully.
