On September 19, Saturday, a cold rainy day at Oppenheimer Park, our DTES homeless friends were not been forgotten, Lotus Light Charity Society volunteers have distributed more than 220 lunch box with Sweet & Sour Pork, Stir Fry Beans & Spare Ribs served with Rice. A big “Thank You” to the generosity of sponsors Tonny Ma, John Deng, Candy, Cathy and their Western Lake Seafood Restaurant.
Lotus Light Charity Society feeds over 200 homeless each month throughout this year at Oppenheimer Park, heart of DTES on Powell St. Donations welcome to support this worthy cause to help the homeless fight hunger.
