FreshPoint and Produce Terminal are committed to supporting Lotus Light’s Community Caring Day, which takes place annually in July. This event was initiated last summer and aims to bring low-income families, seniors, homeless, and other vulnerable residents together at Oppenheimer Park to enjoy free lunch, entertainment, and gifts.
Vancouver’s largest Malkin Avenue produce corporations, Produce Terminal, Fresh Point, Fresh Direct Produce, Van-Whole Produce, and Discovery Organics, have committed to donating fresh fruit to the charity’s Annual Winter Charity Drive & Community Caring Day events until 2022!
The LLCS would like to sincerely thank Philip who has taken the initiative to organize this collaboration from the very beginning! The LLCS would like to also extend its gratitude to Produce Terminal, Fresh Point, Fresh Direct Produce, Van-Whole Produce, and Discovery Organics for their support in combating hunger in the Downtown Eastside.
