More recently, the Food Recovery Program has expanded and through collaboration with local food recovery networks, food distributors, and food producers, the program has delivered 1000+ lbs of food to inner-city school children, families, seniors, and homeless individuals.
As the Food Recovery program continues expanding, there is an urgent need for more volunteers to help with pickups and deliveries of the donated goods. If you are interested, please sign up with program coordinators Gia or Sean if you have a vehicle and a few hours to spare each week.
