Lotus Light Distributes 10000 lbs of Mandarin as New Year Gifts to Community Organizations

Just entering 2023, Lotus Light donated 10,000 lbs of fresh mandarin as New Year gifts to senior organization, low-income families service organization and shelters.

On Jan 3, 2023 Lotus Light distributed 10,000 lbs of fresh mandarins to a dozen of low-income families service organization, senior groups and shelters. Recipients include Yarrow Intergenerational Society, DTES Distribution Hub, Ling Nan Senior Association, WeDo Buddhist Association, Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door , Freemasons Housing Society, Salvation Army Belkin House, Lu’ma Native Housing Society, SRO Collaborative Society, New Fountain Shelter and Osborn Shelter.

“Thank you for your best wishes and the New Year gifts.” Alvin Chong, director of Belkin House praised Lotus Light.
