Lotus Light Charity’s 2013 Winter Charity Drive
Lotus Light Charity Society (Vancouver) is hosting its 2013 Annual Charity Gala on Saturday, December 14th at 6:00-10:30pm at Floata Seafood Restaurant, #400, 180 Keefer St, Vancouver, BC. Proceeds from this special event will support Lotus Light Charity Society services and programs such as Care Package and Children Food Backpack, to benefit the homeless and low-income families in Vancouver.
This year, Lotus Light Charity (Vancouver) will continue distributing winter care packs over the coming winter months to the neediest in our community. Your sponsorship of a winter care package ($10 each) will go a long ways to helping someone in need survive extreme weather this winter.

In 2012 Winter Charity Drive, LLCS had donated over 1000 new sleeping bags and 1000 Care Packages to VPD homeless outreach program, BC Ambulance Services, and many more emergency shelters and local organizations. (The Gathering Place, Union Gospel
Mission, Marpole Place, Catholic Charities, Lord’s Rain, Evelyne Saller Centre and DVBIA’s
Ambassador Program) Together, our partners assist to deliver your donations to the needy on our streets. Lotus Light’s Annual Winter Charity Drive has distributed more than 250,000 winter garments and non-perishable food items since its inception in 1995. Yes, something that means so little to us can actually make an enormous difference in their lives!
Lotus Light Charity Society wishes to offer a heartfelt thank you and appreciation to all of our donors. Your generous support will be giving new sleeping bags, garment accessories and personal hygiene items (Winter Care Packages) to primarily the homeless and others in this winter season.
