LLCS Gets a New Sponsor for the August Hot Meals for the Homeless Program
In addition to their excellent customer service, the Burnaby Palace Chinese Restaurant also has a big heart! The restaurant joined the list of proud sponsors of the Lotus Light Charity Society (LLCS) when they sponsored the August Hot Meals for the Homeless Program. LLCS volunteers picked up trays of hot Chinese food from the restaurant and delivered them straight to Powell St, where hungry people were awaiting them in line. The homeless residents along with Oppenheimer Park staff gave the restaurant and the LLCS a round of applause for their delicious, nutritious, and high-protein meal.
