Donating Safety Vests to Community Policing Centers and Stationery to Schools

Lotus Light Charity Society extends its heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated volunteers at the Community Policing Centers (CPC) who continually serve and support our communities. Their invaluable assistance has been instrumental in the success of numerous Lotus Light events. As a token of appreciation, on August 10th, we had the privilege of donating five hundred Hi-Vis safety vests to our esteemed partners, Collingwood CPC and Strathcona CPC. These safety vests will be distributed through these centers to community volunteers spanning eleven Community Policing Centers within the City of Vancouver.

Simultaneously, within the framework of our Children Assistance Plan (CAP), we are pleased to announce the dispatch of the inaugural batch of backpacks equipped with stationery to various inner-city schools in our locale. These essential kits will be extended to financially disadvantaged students, providing invaluable support as they pursue their educational journey. Given the escalating cost of living in Vancouver, the aid offered by assistance programs, such as the one pioneered by Lotus Light, holds profound significance for many families. Our commitment to sustaining this vital assistance has led us to proactively garner funds and assemble essential supplies, including stationery, everyday essentials, and non-perishable food items, all of which are crucial components of the Lotus Light Children Assistance Plan.

We extend an open invitation for contributions to our assistance programs, encouraging individuals, businesses, and corporations to participate in this endeavor.
